Because the health department is the capital of health and safety (physical, mental, intellectual, social and life) of humans in the world; Deep and detailed exploration and insight; To research and find peace for everyone is the precious and glorious goal of health scientists; Therefore, for this purpose, the Atefi Institute of Health Sciences was established in Herat in 1390 A.H. with the official permission of the honorable Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. This health-scientific institution, with forward-looking and purposeful leadership, a smart and wise director, a strong scientific-teaching assistantship, a cultural and complaint hearing committee, managers and professional employees, active administrations in all fields, professional and experienced professors, separate buildings for boys and girls, standard classes, electronic {online} and real libraries, modern medical facilities and equipment, advanced laboratories and skill labs, computer labs, Afghan-Salamat hospital with (12) years of experience in 12 fields, the basis of studying health sciences; for young people with more than (3000) current students and more than (8000) thousand graduated students, is still at the service of those who are interested in.

The leadership, Managers and Staffs of the institute have decision; That this institute will be placed in the first place of accreditation among the health sciences institutes of Afghanistan, and this institution will continue to increase knowledge and expand health-scientific research for the next five years, as the best (scientific, standard, reliable and sustainable) institution in the field of health sciences.
